Location & Address
Our wedding will take place in the charming setting of Farington Lodge. The superb four star Grade II listed Georgian house has a fascinating history and is set in its own secluded landscaped gardens and grounds, within easy reach of Preston.
The venue is nestled in a picturesque setting, offering a beautiful backdrop for our special day. The full address is: Farrington Lodge, Stanifield Lane, Farington, Preston, Lancashire. PR25 4QR.

Set close to Leyland, near Preston, and just two minutes from the intersection of the M6, M61 and M65, Farington Lodge is easily accessible from all over the north of England. The Hotel is within walking distance of Leyland Train Station.
From M6 South, M61 & M65
Take the M6 to Junction 29 or M61 to Junction 9 and the follow signs for M65 Preston South. Continue to the end of M65 then turn left at the large roundabout.
Drive 200 metres to the next roundabout and turn left. 0.9 miles to traffic lights. Straight through lights and the entrance to Farington Lodge is 100 metres on the right.
From M6 North
Leave the M6 at Junction 28. Turn left at bottom of slip road, then take the first right into Bow Brook Lane (opposite Best Western Hotel). This leads into Bow Lane.
Turn left at the T-Junction (church on left) into Moss Lane. Turn right at the mini roundabout (Vauxhall garage on right). Farington Lodge entrance is half a mile on left.

The venue boasts a variety of facilities to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests. From elegantly decorated indoor spaces to lush outdoor gardens, the venue provides a stunning setting for both our ceremony and reception. Guests will have access to modern amenities and a well-equipped bar. Please note that the venue is CARD PAYMENTS ONLY - it doesn't take cash.
The 9 bedrooms in the original house, including a romantic four poster room, have all been recently redecorated and have beautiful new bathrooms.
Some even have window seats overlooking the lawns. 18 further spacious executive bedrooms offer contemporary luxury, including desk and sitting area, underfloor heating. 2 have wet rooms and all bathrooms have a separate bath and walk in shower.
Our goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome and relaxed on our special day.

What sets our venue apart are the unique features that we think make it perfect for our wedding. The venue offers several picturesque spots for photo opportunities, including a beautiful gazebo and lawned gardens (with occasional squirrel visitors!).
The venue staff are experienced in hosting weddings and will be on hand throughout the day to assist with any needs. We're confident their expertise and attention to detail will help create a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.
